Ana; ~d <br /> <br /> ~HER?AS, said City of Santa Ana is comtemplating the <br />repaying of aais North ~ain Street, and in connection with <br />said repaving bsa received an outline of proposed recon- <br />struction of its tracks and railroad from sai~ Pacific <br />Electric Rait~ay Company and the rapaving of said railroad <br />between the rails, between the tracks and for two feet <br />on each side thereof; and <br /> <br /> ~HEREA~, thi~ Boar8 of T~ustees has considered <br />proposition with the Pacific Electric Railway Comvany in <br />connection with the rep~ving of s~id North N~in Street; <br /> <br /> ~0TM T¥FMEVORr, =E IT 9VPO[V~D, That said Pacific El- <br />ectric Railway Com~ny be, an.? it is hereby ordered to re- <br /> <br /> tire six thousand four hundred and seventy-one (6471) <br /> feet of double track on said North ~ain Street from Eifth <br /> Street to Santa Clara. Ava:ue, and replace the same with <br /> six thousanf one hundred and ten (6110) feet of single <br /> track located in the center of said North ~ain Street; also <br /> to construct four hundre~ and ten (410) feat of double track <br /> <br /> for a passing siding near the Crossing of said Pacific <br /> Railway Company's tracks over the tracks of the ~ <br /> Electric <br /> <br />Southern Pacific Company, and in connection therewith to <br />shift an~ reconstruct one hundred and six,y-eight (166) <br />fe~t of single track as no,~~ constructed; al~o to recon- <br />struct two thousand and thirty (2030) feet of single <br />track railroad from the poin~ of its cro=$~ng with the <br />tracks of the Southern Pacific Company to the northerly <br />city limits of S~nta Aha; <br /> <br /> IT IS H~MFPy FU~TMFR ORDFRMD that the sixty poRnt (60¢) <br />A.S.C.E. rail in the present construction be replaced with <br />seventy-five pount (75¢) C.S.Rev. rail, with one hundred <br />per cent (100¢,~) tie renewal, new tie-~lates, said new track <br />constructed to be rebonded mhd the present eight-inch gravel <br />ballast to be re?laced with eight-inch ~oak ballast; 'the -~ <br /> <br />crossing of the tracks of esid Pacific Electric Railway <br /> <br />ComFsny and the Southern Pacific Comr~ny to be reneced:. <br /> <br /> <br />
