176 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 656. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE B0tqD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ArA, AS TEE LEgiSLATIVE BRANCH OF SAID ~UNICIPAL UOR- <br />PORATION, VACATING, ABANDONING AND SETTING ~IDE CERTAIN PRO- <br />CEEDINGS HERETOFOR~ TAKEN BY ~ID BOARD 0F TRU~T~E~, AND ES- <br />PECIALLY THE PASSAG~ AND ADOPTION OF THAT CERTAIN RESOLUTION <br />PASSED ~D ADOPTED ON THE loth DAY OF ~A¥, 1920 AND ~ING RE- <br />SOLUTION NO.' 6~9 OF ~5{E~CITY OF SANT~ A~A. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, as <br /> <br /> She legislative branch of said municipal corporation, do <br /> <br /> determine and order as foll~ws: <br /> <br /> 1. Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br /> <br />Santa Aha, as the legislative branch of said municipal corpor- <br />ation, did on the loth day of ~ay, 1920, by a vote of more than <br />two-thirds of al-1 its members, pass and adopt, and there was <br />approved by the President of said Board of Trustees, Resolution <br />No. 649 of said City; and <br /> <br /> 2. Whereas, it now appears that said Resolution <br /> <br />No. 649 and the terms and provisions thereof, do not state or <br />express and there is not therein stated or expressed or set for~ <br />certain conditions and requirements desired by said Board of <br />Trustees to be expressed and set forth; and <br /> <br /> 3. Whereas, it appears that a valid issue of bonds <br /> <br />by the City of Santa Ana dould not, for the purroses desired to <br /> <br />be set forth in said Resolution, be had or based thereon: <br /> <br /> 4. It is therefore resolved, determined and ordered <br />that Meeolution No. 6%9 of the City of Santa Ana, passed, adopted <br />and approv&d on the 10th day of May, 1920, be and the same is <br />hereby rescinded, vacated, an~uled and set aside and any and all <br />proceedings therein or thereby initiated are abandoned, by this <br />Board of Trustees and the City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br /> The above and foregoing Resolution No. ~56 was <br />passed by the vote of more than two-thirds of all the members <br />the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, as the legiela~ve <br />branch thereof, at a meeting thereof held on the 24th day of ~ay, <br />1920, the said Resolution being passed by the affirmative vote <br />of the follow%ny named trusses: <br /> <br />AYES: Trustees Chapman, Dale, Greenleaf, Tubbs and ~itchell. <br />NOES: Trustees None. <br />ABSENT: Trustees None. <br /> <br /> The above and re~olution No. 656 having been <br /> <br />day duly passed by the votes of more than two-thirdS of all the <br />members of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa A~a, I <br />hereby approve the same this 24th d~, of Nay, 1920. <br /> <br /> J.
