RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />A R¥SOLUTION BY T~ BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SAMTA A~A <br />ORDERING THE GRADE CF ~D UPON A PORTION OF CYPRES AVENUE <br />AND ORANGE AVENUE, PUBLIO STREETS IN THE OITY OF SANTA A~A, <br />CHANGED AND.RE*ESTABLISHED, DIREOTING THE PUBLICATION OF THIS <br />RESOLUTION AND DESIGNATING A NEWSPAPER FOR THAT PURPOSE. <br /> <br /> Whereas, on the lgth day of October, 1920, the Board of <br />Trustees of the city of Santa Aha passed its Resolution of In- <br />tention No. 6~? to order the grade of and upon a portion of <br />Cypress Avenue and Orange Avenue. public streets in the city of <br />Santa Aha, changed and re-established and which resolution stat- <br />ed the names of the public streets and designated the portions <br />thereof upon which it is proposed to change and re-establish <br />the grade, and set forth the change of grade proposed to be <br />made; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, said Resolution of Intention No. 66? was there- <br />after conspicuously posted for two days on the chamber door of <br />the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha, and published <br />by two insertions in SANTA ANA DAILY EVEN;NG R~GISTER, a dai~ <br />newspaper published and circulated in the city of Santa Ana, <br />designated by said Board/of T~uetees for that purpose, which <br />publication was had therein on the 20th ~$ Zlst days of 0e- <br />tcher, 1920; and <br /> <br /> Wherea~, the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa <br />'Ana thereafter caused to be conspicuously posted, aud on the <br />22nd day of October, 1920, there was conspicuously posted along <br />the portions of Cypress Avenue and Orange Avenue, designated <br />in said Resolution of Intention No. 66?, and which it is pro- <br />posed to change and re-establish the grade, less than 150 ft. <br />in distance apart, and t62 in all, notlSes of the passage of <br /> <br />said Resolution of Intention, each of said Notices were head- <br />ed: NOTICE OF CHANGE OF GBADE, in letters more than one inch in <br /> <br />length, and in legible characters stated the fact of the pas- <br />sage of said Resolution of Intention, its date,t~ name of the <br />public streets and designated the portions thereof, the grade <br />of which is proposed to be changed, and referred to said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 66? for further particulars, and <br />also said Street Superintendent caused a Notice simila~ in <br />substance to be published, and the same was published for six <br />days, to-wit: on the 23-25-26-2?-28-29 days of October, 1920 <br />in SANTA ANA DA~LY EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper pub- <br />lished and circulated in the city of Santa Aha, and designated <br />by the Board of ~rustees f~ that purpose; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, more than thirty days have elapsed after the <br />23rd day of October, 1920, the date of the first pubIication of <br />said notice of the passage of Resolution of ~ntention No. 66? <br /> <br /> and no protests have been filed, and <br /> <br /> <br />
