The Clerk of the city of Santa Aha shall cause this Resolution of Intention to be published twice in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTFR, a daily newspaper published, and cir- culated in the city of Santa Aha, and which newspaper le here- by designated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees. The Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Ana shall cause to be ~onepicuously posted along the line of ~aid con- templated work and improvement at not more than 300 feet in distance apart, but not lees than three in all, notices of the passage of this ~esolution of Intention. The work being chargeable upon a district, copies of said notice shall also be posted along all of the open streets within such district,, at not more than 300 feet in distance apart on each street. All of the posting must be fully completed at least ten days before the day in this Resolution of Intention est for hearing protests or objections. All of said notices shall be headed: NOTICE OF IMPROVE- MENT" in letters of not less than one inch in length and shall in legible characters state the fact of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, its date, and briefly describe the work and improvement, and refer to this resolution of intention for further particulars. Said notice shall also hour and place when and where contain a statement of the day, any and all persons having any objections to the proposed work or improvement may appear before the Board of Trustees and show cause why the said pro- posed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution of Intention, and there shall also Oe inserted therein the following: "Notice ia hereby given that serial bonds to represent unpaid assessments and bear interest at the rate of seven per cent per annum, will be issued hereunder in the manner pro- vided by the improvement bond act of 1915, the last installment of which bonds shall mature ten years from the second day of July next s$cceeding nine months from their date." All said notices shall be posted and shall contain and set forth in manner and form the facts, things and matters re~ qulred by law. The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha deem it unnecessary and not advisable that copies of said notice be mailed to the owners or reputed owners, and for that reason the Clerk is not directed to do so.
