RESOLUTION NO. ~;7-~,8 ACCEPTING GRANT DEED WHEREAS, W. F. CRODDY and ~,~URINE M. CRODDY have presented to theCity Council a Grant Deed dated August 6, 1957, without cash con- sideration,~ conveying property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, d escribed as: An easement for street purposes over the following: That portiqn of the following described property now owned by Grantor herein. A strip of land 100.00 feet in width, the center line of v h ich is described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center lines of Delhi Road and 01d Newport Road; thence S. 87° 42' 15" W. 1868.62 feet along the north lines and its easterly prolongation of Lot 3 in Tract No. 1013 as shown on a map recorded in Book 33, page 36 of Niscellaneous Naps, records of Orange County, California, to the northwest corner of said Lot 3, and to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southerly; thence west- erly and southwesterly along the arc of said curve, havin~ a radius of 1009.88 feet through a central angle of 18° 48' 45" to a tangent line; thence S. 68° 53' 30" W. 944-41 feet to a tangent curve concave northerly, having a radius of 998.02 feet; thence southwesterly and westerly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 19° 50' 15" more or less to a point on the east line of Lot 7 of Tract No. 1024 as shown on a map recorded in Book 33, Page 33 of ~iscellaneous Naps, records of said Orange County, 360.47 feet northerly from the southeast corner of said Lot 7. Also hereby granting and surrendering all vehicular access rights to the above described property from the lands abutting said property. Excepting and reserving unto Grantor, his heirs or assigns, the right to constmct, maintain and operate across the land here- in described, such railway tracks as shall be required for industrial and for other development or use for the parcels of land owned by Grantor and other property adjacent to or in the vicinity of the above described land anm in such locations up- on the above described land, as shall be required for such purposes, together with the right to convey said right to any person, firm or corporation. NOW, THEREFO.~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana accepts said Deed and the Clerk of the Council is hereby instructed to cause said Deed to be recorded with the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
