might appear before the city council and show cause wb~bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess- ments shown on the said list by posting said notice conspic- uously near the council chamber door of the cityof Santa Aha, on the 20th day of September, 1922, and said notice remained there posted until the hour of the hearing therein notices, and by publishing the said notice twice in the ~ANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER,a newspaper published in the city of Santa Ana, to-wit: on the 20th and 21st days of September,1922, the first publication of which was more than five full days before the time therein fixed for such hear- ing, and further mailing said notice, postage prepaid,to the owner of each lot listed according to the name and address appearing on the last equalized assessment rollfor city taxes of the city of Santa Aha prior thereto; and Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana was in session and duly convened at the time and place in the saidnotice specified, and proceeded to hear any objections presented and no intereste~ or other persona appearing to show cause or did show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments or objected thereto: It ia therefore now, by the Board of Trus- tees of the City of Santa Aha, determined, resolved, and ordered as follows: F~rst.
