denomination, annual series, and purposes for w)~!ch t?~e bonds are to. be issued, as herein set forth. l~he bonds shall be sf~ned by the tre~,surer and tl:e Clerk ] the city of Santa Aha. There shall beattsched to each bond interest coupons representing the pa~ents of semi-annual interest accruing and made payable upon the principal of the bonds to which t~ey are attached. All of said coupons s~all be sfgned by the Treasurer of the city of Santa Aha, but the Treasurer's siFuature may be engraved, printed, or lithographed on tie interest coupons in r]sce of the Treas~rer's signature by hand. 'l~he interest coupons shall be consecutively numbered from 1 upward on each bond and the interest thereby reoresented shall be pn~O on tl~e 2nd day of Januory and Jt~]y in each yemr, co~enoing with t~e 2nd d~y of January, 1924, provided, that t~e coupons representi~g the first !'a~ent of interest shall becou~e due on the 2nd day of January, 19~4, being six months before the maturity of the first annual aeries of the bond, shall be for t~e interest accruing thereon, from the 2nd day of October, 1922.
