RESOLUTION NO. 766. RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 'Y66 OF TILE BOAteD OF TRUSTEES OF TtIE CITY OF SANTA ANA FOR TEE CLOSING OF CERTAIN STREET 0R ALLEY. Re~lved, that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, to order the follow- ins street work to be done: First. 1]qat the street or alley hereinafter de- scribed be closed: Ail of that certain street or alley ~0 feet in width deeded to the City of Santa Aha for street purposes lying a~jacent to and ~arallel with t~e westerly side of the Pacific Electric Railway Company's 40 foot'right of way, and extending from the south line of McFadden Street southerly to the south City limits of the City of Santa Aha. Second; That the lands necessary to be taken there- for is described as follows, to-wit: Ail of that certain strip of land 30 feet in width lyin~ a~jacent to and D~rallel with, on the westerly smde of the ~acific Electric Railway Company's 40 foot right of way extending from the south line of l~icFadden Street southerly to the south City limits of the City of Santa Ana. Third. That the following are the exterior boundaries of the district of lands to be affected or benefi~ed by said work and be assessed to pay the damages, expenses or costs thereof, to-wit: Situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, St~ e of California, and described as fol].ows:- Beginning at the point of intersection of the center lines of ~cFadden Street and Orange Avenues, thence easterly to the west line of Pacific Electric Railway Company's 40 foot right of way~ thence southerly along said right of way to City limits of City of Santa Ana~ thence westerly alon~ said City line to Center line of Orange Ave: thence northerly~ along said center line to r]ace of beginning. Fourth. The banta Ana Register is hereby designated as the newspaper in which the Superintendent of Streets shall publish "Notice of Public Work" as provided by law. Resolution No. 766 was read and considered by the Board of Trustees at a meeting held on the 6th day of Narch, 1922, and on motion of Trustee ~. A. Greenleaf, seconded by Trustee C. H. Chapman, called and Resolution No. vote: Ayes: was carried, and the roll was ~66 was passed by the following Trustees J. W. Tubbs, C. ~[. C~apman, H. H. Dale, W. A. Greenleaf, John G. Mitchell.
