62 Resolved, that the city of Santa Aha hereby re- jects all of said proposals or bids except that hereinafter next mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder therefor, to-wit: Geo. R. Curtis, at the price named in his bid as follows: Item 1. The regrading to a subgrade and the laying of a 4 inch concrete ~avement with one and one-half inch asphaltic concrete wearing surface, complete w~th the. furnishing of all necessary equipment and material on an estimate of 229,6V5 square feet for the sum of Twenty-six cents ($0.26) per square foot. Item 2. The trenching, furnishing and laying of house branch sewers, from the main sewer to the curb line complete with the furnishing of ail necessary equipment and material on an estimate of lO71 linear feet for the sum of Seventy-five cents ($0.V5) per linear foot. ~l~e Clerk of the city of Santa Ana is hereby ~irected to post notice of this award with specifications for five days on or near the council chamber door of the council chamber of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, and also publish'said notice twice in SANTA ANA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the city of Santa Ana, hereby designated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution is a full, true and correct copy of the Resolution of Award No. ~74 duly and regularly introduced and passed by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha at a regular meeting thereof held on the 17th day of April, 1922, by the following vote: Ayes: Trustees J. ~.
