All of the bonds therefor, but not less Bond No. 1 in the denomination of ~616.61 shall constitute annual Series No~ 1 and be payable July 2nd, 1924, being the 2nd day of July next succeeding nine months after the date of the bond. Annually thereafter on the day of July of each year one of said bonds in like denomina- tion and in successive numerical order shall fall due and be paid, and t~%e bonds payable in each year shall constitute the annual series for the year in which they are to be paid. Fourth shall be sold to the hi~hest bidder than their par and ~ccrued 'nterest at the date of their delivery, and the proceeds of the there~, shall be deposited in the treasury of the City of Santa Aha to the credit of West First Ltreet Improvement Bond Redemption Fund, and from which there sl~ll be p~'d to the Contractor, or his assigns, the balance due klm upon the assessment, and warrant, for the work done and improve- ment made upon a portion of West First Street, including interest upon t~e principal at the rate of ~ per annum from the 8th day of January, 192S, and the surplus of such proceed if any, shall be credited to said redemption fund for the pavement of such bonds. If no satlsfoctory bids are received, or the Board of Trustees determine that the bids received ~re not satisf~ctoryl as to price or responsibility of the bidder, t~e Board of True, tees reserves the rirht to reject all bids received, if any, and readvertfse the bonds for sale, or delive~ said bo~ds to the contractor or his assigns in satisfactlo~ of the sum due klm upon the assessment and war~.ant.
