V0F of the city of Santa ANS.) ~hereas, said special election so called was, on the ~gth day of March, 192g, dul~ held in all respects fairly and legally and in accordance with law and the provisions of said Ordinance ~o. V0V and Whereas, on ~onday, the 2nd day of April, 192~, the Board of Trustees of the city of Laura Aaa duly canvassed the r~turns of said special election and from said returns and the canvass thereof it appeare~ of t?e city of Santa Aaa finds t~at votes of two-thirds and more of all a~d the Board of Trustees at said election the the voters voting thereat were voted YES and in favor of the issuance of the bonds of the city of Santa Aaa, as follows:- For the completion of the municip~l water works in t~e sum of ~150,000.00; For the completion of the electric fire alarm system in the sum of $25,000.00; For the east fire engine house in the sum of ~12,500.00 For the west fire engine house in the sum of $12,500.00 For the street work in the sum of ~30,000.00 For the fire apparatus in the sum of "' ~25,000.00 Now therefore, the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana do resolve, determine, and declare as follows:- S~ction_.l-- The public interest and also tlc public necessity de- mands t~e completion of the municipal water works of t~e city of Santa Aaa, ~nd t!~e cost thereof will be the sum of $150,000.00, which Will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary ann~al income and reven~e of the city of Santa Ans. The bonds of the city of Santa Ana ~re hereby ordered to be issued and sold in the sum of ~iS0,000.00, w?icB is the V principal of the indebtedness to be incurred, by s~Id city for the completion of the municipal water works thereof; the s~Id sum of ~150,000.00 s~ll be repregented by 150 bonds, each in the denomination of $1000.00, and shall be numbered consecutively from i to 150, inclusive, all of the 1S0 bonds shall be dated the %st day of ~ay, 1928, ~nd be paid as follows: - on the ]st day of ~ay, 1924, six (6) of s~id bonds, being bonds numbered from i to 6, both inclusive, shall be paid,~ and annually thereafter on the 1st day of ~Sy six ~6) ~dditional of said bonds, ln~suecessive m~merical order shall be paid, until all of said bonds, both principal and interest, have been well and truly paid, b~ing an annual payment of not less than one-fortieth part of the principal of said indebtedness.
