be paid on the 2nd day of January and July in each year, conmlenctng with the 2nd.day. of January, 1924, being six months before ~he maturity of the first annual aeries of the bonds, shall be for the interest a~cruing thereon from the 16th day of April, 1928. ~ond No. 1 in the denomination of $268.85 shall con- atitute annual aeries No. 1 and be psyable July 2nd, being the 2nd day of July next succeeding nine months after the date of the bond.
