246 <br /> <br /> And Whereas, the lath day of June, 1923, at V:30 <br />o~elock ~.M. was the date and hour set for protests, and <br />whereas, certain owners of property liable to be assessed <br />for said work made oral protest and the Board of Trustees <br />of the said city proceeded to hear the same, and all of said <br />protests or objections having been heard, the hearing was <br />continued from time to time until the 6th day of August, <br />1923, when after having duly considered the protests, it is <br />hereby <br /> <br /> ~esolved, by the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana that all of the said protests and objections <br />against seid proposed work or improvement, be, and the same <br />are hereby, overruled and denied. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution <br />was duly and regularly passed by the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana, at a regular meeting of said Board <br />held the 6th day of August, 1923, by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes: Trustees Gee M~Phee, Nat H. Chapman <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Clerk of the .City of Santa Aha. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING ?~ORK <br /> ~'~o. 1058. <br /> <br /> Resolved, that whereas the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana, did on the 28th day of May, 1923, <br />pass its Eesolution of Intention No. ]008 to order the here- <br />inafter described work to be done and improvement to be made <br />in said city, which Resolution of Intention was duly and <br />legally published as required by law in the Santa Aha Da~]y <br />Evening Register, as appears from the affidavit of T. G. <br />McDonour, principal clerk of the printers of said daily <br />newspaper, filed on the 1st day of June, 1923, and now on <br />file in the office of the Clerk of said city; and whereas, <br />after the adoption of said Resclutlon of Intention Nc. 1008, <br />notices of the passage of said Res. olutton, headed "NOTICE OF <br />!MPROVEEENT" were duly and legally posted along the li~e cf <br />said contemplated work and improvement and also along the <br />streets within the assessme~t district by the Street Super- <br />intendent of ~hld city, in the form and manner as required <br />by law, after the passage of said Resolution of Intention, <br /> <br /> <br />
