26 t. <br /> <br /> In, on and along the roadway of West Fifth ~eet <br />in said city from curb line to curb line, between thm We.st <br />line of North Baker Street and the West line of North.Artesia <br />Street, and where any street or alley intersects or termi- <br />nates in the describedportions of West Fifth Street, then <br />beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reservations to <br />the North and South property lines thereof. In, on and along <br />the roadway of West Fifth Street in said city between the <br />West line of North Artesia Street and the West city <br />line, a strip of said roadway twenty (20) feet wide, being <br />ten (10) feet on each side of the center line of said West <br />Fifth Street, and the construction of a 2' x 4' concrete, cul~ <br />vert across a portion of West Fifth Street, as shown an <br /> <br /> The work an~ improvement is more particnlarly des- <br />cribed as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The removal of the present pavement from the <br />surface of that portion of the above described roadway of <br />West Fifth Street, between the West line of North Baker <br />Street and ~he West line of North Artesia Street, and the <br />grading and paving of said roadway with a seven (V) inch <br />Portland cement concrete pavement. <br /> <br /> (b) The removal cf the present pavement from the <br />surface of that portion of the roadway of West Fifth Street <br />described as a twenty (20) foot strip, ten (10) feet on each <br />side of the center line thereof, lying between th~ West line <br />of North Artesia Street and a line drawn across said West <br />Fifth Street parallel to and two (2) feet Easterly (measured <br />at right angles) from the East rail of the Pacific Electric <br />Railway, and the grading and paving of said roadway with a <br />seven (V) inch Portland cement concrete pavement. <br /> <br /> (c) The removal of the present pavement from the <br />surface of that portion of the roadway of West Fifth Street, <br />described as a strip twenty (20) feet wide, being ten (10) <br />feet on each side of the center line of said street lying <br />between a line drawn across the said roadway of West Fifth <br />Street parallel to and two (2) feet Westerly (measured at <br />right angles) from the West rail of the Pacific Electric <br />~ilway and the West city lirmits line, and the grading and <br />paving of said portion of roadway with a six (6) inch Port- <br />land cement concrete pavement. <br /> <br /> (dS The construction of cement curbs and curb re- <br />turns on portions of said West Fifth Street lying between <br />the West line of North Baker Street and the West line of <br />North Artesia Street, where same are not already constructed. <br /> <br /> (e) The excavation of trench approximately eight <br />(8) feet in depth and the laying therein of one hundrSd and <br />eighty-one (181) feet of eight (8) inch main sewer pipe line <br />along the approximate center line of West Fifth Street and <br />connecting on the East with the main sewer now in place and <br /> <br /> <br />
