Bonds shall be issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments st~own~.~n the list thereof, as here- InSbove determined, for. t~e sggreg~te principal of the sum of unpaid assessments, towit: $6,399.06, and shall be payable in ten annual series on t~e 2nd day of J~ly of each year next succeeding nine month~ after their date, until the whole sum of the aggregate pgtncipal is paid, Said bonds and each of them shall bear interest at the rate of 7~ per annum from the 8th day of January, 1925, the date of filing with the Clerk of Santa Ana the Street Superintendent's list unpaid sssessments, and until t~e whole sum of of principal and interest is paid; The interest shall be paid semi-annually by coupons on the 2nd d~y of January and July, respect- ivel$ , of each year after the date of the bonds, provided, that the first payment of interest shall not be until the 2nd day of January, 1924, being six months before the maturity of the first annual series of the bonds. The bonds and interest shal.1 be paid st the office of t~e Treasurer of the city of Santa Aaa, in said city, county of Orange, State of Cali- fornia, and upon the presentation of the proper bonds and coupons, out of the redemption f,~nd, and under no circumstances shall said bonds or interest there- on be paid out of any other fund. ~ redemption fund shall be kept by the Treasurer of the city of Santa Ana designated West First Street Improvement Bond Re- demption Fund, in which the Treasurer shall place all sums received from the collection of assessments made for the payment of the cost of the work and improvement dpon which the bonds are issued and the interest and penalties thereon. All of the bonds shall be dated the 22nd day of January, 1923, and shall be numbered consecutively from i to 20, inclusive.
