being six months before the maturity of the first annual <br /> <br />series of the bonds, shall be for the interest accruing <br />thereon from the 12th day of December, 1922. <br /> <br /> Bond No. i in the denomination of $500.00, and Bond <br />No. ll in the denomination of $564.20 shall constitute <br /> <br />annual series No. 1 and be payable July 2nd, 1924, being <br />the 2od day of July next succeeding nine months after the <br />date of the bond. Annually thereafter on the 2nd day of <br />each year two additional bonds in like denominations and <br /> <br />in successive numerical order shall fall due and be paid, <br /> <br />until the last year when one bond in the denomination of <br />$500.00 and one bond in the denomination of $$84.23 shall ~ <br />be paid, and the bonds payable in each year shall constitute <br /> <br />the annual series for the year in which they are to be <br />paid. <br /> <br />Fourth. <br /> <br />All of the bonds shall be sold to the highest <br /> <br />er therefor, but not less than their par and accrued <br /> <br />bidd- ~ <br />interest <br /> <br />at the date of their delivery, and the proceeds of the <br /> <br />sale thereof shall be deposited in the treasury of the <br />city of Santa Aha to the credit of East and ~'est Seventeen- <br /> <br />th Street Improvement Bond Redemption Fur. d, and from which <br />there shall be paid to the Oontractor, or his assigns the <br />balance due him upon the assessment, and warrant for the <br />work done and improvement m~de upon a portion of ~ast <br />Seventeenth ~treet ~nd ;~est Seventeenth Street, including <br />interest upon the principal amount at the rate of 7% per <br />annum from the 12th day of December, 1922, and the surplus <br />of such procesds, if any, shall be credited to said re- <br /> <br />demption fund for the payment of such 'bonds. <br /> <br /> If no satisfactory bids are received, or the Board <br /> <br />of Trustees determine that the bids received are not <br /> <br />satisfactory as to price or responsibility of the bidder, <br />the Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject all <br /> <br />bids received, if any, and readvertise the bonds for sale, <br />or deliver said bonds to the contractor or his assigns, in <br />satisfaction of the sum due him upon the assessment and <br />warrant. <br /> <br />Fifths.. <br /> <br /> The assessment, levy, and collection of taxes in <br />and for the city of Santa An~ being made through and by <br />t~e County of Orange, and the officers thereof, it is <br /> <br />ordered that a copy hereof be filed in the office of the <br /> <br />Auditor of the County of Orange, <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the <br /> <br />california. <br />foregoing resolution <br /> <br />and order was regularly introduced before and passed by <br />the Board of Trustees of the city of ~anta ~na at a <br /> <br />regnlar adjourned meeting thereof held on the 2nd day of <br /> <br />January, 1923, by the vote of the following named members <br /> <br /> <br />
