RESOLUTION NO. APPROVING ~P, D~.C~RING <br />INTENTION TO VACA-~.RTAIN UNNA~.D AL~EY~ OR <br />PORTIONS THEREOF AND PORTIONS OF MEASOR STREET <br />AND CENTRAL AVENUE, AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE <br />FOR HEARING THEREON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after study, the Planning Commission and the Director <br />of Public Works have recommended the vacation of those alleys and <br />portions of alleys, and those portions of Measor Street and Central <br />Avenue hereinbelow described, the City Council, after study, has con- <br />cluded that the same may be unnecessary for present or prospective <br />street purposes, and has caused a map thereof to be prepared; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the map attached hereto <br />marked "Exhibit A" is hereby appmoved, adopted, and ordered filed as <br />a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, <br />and reference ia hereby made to said map for particulars of location, <br />extent, te~waini and exact details of this proposed street vacation, <br />and the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate, abandon <br />and close up as public streets those portions of Measor Street and <br />Central Avenue, those alleys and portions of alleys in the City of <br />Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br /> The following abandonments occur in Block D of Emmetts Addition: <br /> <br /> That portion of the 15-ft. alley in Block D of the Emmetts Addi- <br /> tion bounded on the east by the southerly extension of the east <br /> line of Lot i and on the west by a line beginning at a point <br /> 17.5 ft. east of the southwest corner of Lot 4, and extend, ing south <br /> to a point 17.5 ft. east of the northwest comer of Lot 5. <br /> The following abando~ents occur in Block A of Wmmetts Addition: <br /> <br /> That portion of the 15-ft. alley north of Lot 3 in Block A of <br /> W. mmetts Addition and east of Lots 3, 4, and 5 in Bl&ck A of <br /> Emmetts Addition, bounded on the west by a line beginning at <br /> a point 5 ft. east of the SW corner of Lot 2 extending south <br /> to a point 5 ft. east of the NW collier of Lot 3, and bounded <br /> on the south by the easterly extension of the south line of <br /> Lot 5. <br /> <br /> The following abandonments occur in Block B of ~mmetts Addition: <br /> <br /> The 15-ft. alley east of Lots 1 through 9 and that portion of <br /> land s6uth of Lot 9 bounded on the east by the southerly exten- <br /> sion of the east line of the alley, on the south by a line 25 <br /> ft. north of mud parallel to the center line of the Pacific <br /> Electric Railroad, on the north by the south line of Lot 9, and <br /> on the west by a line beginning at a point 5 ft. east of the <br /> southwest corner of Lot 9 extending south to a line 25 ft. north <br /> of and parsllel to the center of the Pacific Electric Railroad. <br /> <br /> <br />
