RESOLUTION NO. 57-315 AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF
<br />CITY RECORDS IN THE 0PFICE OF THE CLERK OF THE COUNCIL
<br />
<br /> WHEREA~, it is n~cessary to have additional space for the
<br />storage of current records kept by the Clerk of the Council, and the
<br />Clerk has examined certain outdated records and has recommended to
<br />the Council that the same be destroyed;
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council is here-
<br />
<br />by authorized to destroy records heretofore kept by her described as:
<br /> Two Record Books - Register of Licenses
<br />
<br /> Four Books on City Accounts - December l, 1890 to May 30, 1923
<br />
<br /> Five Books on Demands and Warrants - May l, 1898 to October 16,
<br /> 1923.
<br />
<br /> One Book on Receipts and Disbursements July 3, !gll to June
<br /> 30, 1912.
<br />
<br /> Petitions, protests, communications, receipts, bills, opinions,
<br /> reports, appointments, certificates of elections, etc.
<br /> dated from June 21, ±886 to December 31, 1919.
<br />
<br /> All bids and contracts f~om June 21, 1886 to January l, 1950,
<br /> except franchise agreements and contracts not yet expired,
<br /> or completed, and leases pertaining to property.
<br />
<br /> Bonds of Public Officials, Electricians, Plumbers, Subdividers,
<br /> etc. from June 21, 1886 to January l, 1950.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana
<br />at their regular meeting held on the 16th day of December, 1957.
