RESOLUTION NO. 57~318 AUTHORIZING THE CONDEMNATION OF <br />CERTAIN HEAL PROPERTY FOR THE WIDENIN~ <br />AND HALLADAY STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Delhi Road and Halladay Street as they now exist are <br />inadequate in width to accommodate the present and future demands of <br />traffic thereon, and heretofore the City of Santa Aha, California, <br />by Resolution No. 57-267 authorized the condemnation of certain par- <br />cels of property on said Streets as neceasary for the widening there- <br />of, and at the time said Resolution was adopted there was indication <br />that the parcels hereinbelow described would be obtained by negotia- <br />tion and/or gift; that said area is included within the boundaries <br />of Assessment District 197, under which said City will do certain <br />street work, and the easements across the properties herein below <br />have been unduly delayed and must now be obtained; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of S~ta Ana <br /> <br />does hereby find and determine that public interest and necessity <br />require that Delhi Road a~ d Halladay Street be widened in the loca- <br />tions hereinbelow described to accommod'ate present and future traffic <br />demands thereon, and further require that the City do have, take and <br />acquire an easement for street purposes in and over those parcels <br />of land in the City of Santa Ana described as follows: <br /> <br /> For the widening of Halladay Street - <br /> <br /> PARCEL la. The easterly 15.50 feet of the southerly 162.50 <br /> feet of the most easterly portion of Lot l, Block 2, Tract <br /> No. 39 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Miscellaneous <br /> Map Book 9, Page 37, Records of 0r~ge County, California. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 2a. The easterly 15.50 feet of Lot 2, in said Block 2. <br /> <br /> PARCEL 3a. A spandrel shaped parcel of land bounded souther- <br /> ly by the south line of said Lot 2, bounded easterly by the <br /> west line of Parcel 2, bounded northwesterly by the arc of <br /> a curve concave northwesterly, having a radius of 25.00 <br /> feet and tangent to said south line of Lot 2, and tangent <br /> to said west line of Parcel 2. <br /> <br /> For the widening of Delhi Road - <br /> <br /> PARCEL 4- The south 10.O0 feet of the west 150.00 feet of <br /> the most northerly 20.00 feet of Lot l, Block 2, in Tract <br /> No. 39, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Miscellan- <br /> eous Map Book 9, Page 37, Records of Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> <br />
