RESOLUTION NO. 58-25 AUTHfE~IZING EXECUTION OF AN AGREER~NT <br />TO SELL REAL PROPERTY TO WILLIAM AND VIRGINIA GUZMAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City acGuired a certain lot herein- <br />below referred to for the purpose of placing thereon a public <br />street, and when said work was completed the property hereinbelow <br />described was left as surplus outside of the street right-of-way, <br />was of such size and shape that the same was not adequate as a build- <br />ing site and could be of value only to the adjoining property, or in <br />the hands of other non-adjoining owners as nuisance value, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> <br />to buy the same, which is fair, just <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: <br />of the City Manager, and after study, <br /> <br />the buyers hereinbelow referred to have made an offer <br /> <br /> and satisfactory; <br /> <br /> That upon the recommendation <br /> the City Council determines <br /> <br />that the real property hereinbelow described meets the requirements <br />of Paragraph 2 of Section 2613 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code; that <br />the total price of $500.00 is the fair value of said property, and <br />that the same should be sold as it has no value to the City. The <br />Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute <br />an agreement for the sale of said property to William Guzman and <br />Virginia Guzman, husband and wife as joint tenants, to cover that <br />certain property in the City of Santa Aha, County of Orauge, State <br />of California, described as: <br /> <br /> The South 18 feet of Lot 14 in Block B of Tract No. 233, <br /> as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 13, Page 9 of <br /> Miscellaneous Maps, records of said Orange County; <br /> <br /> EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion included within a spandrel <br /> shaped parcel bounded Northerly by the North line of said <br /> South 18 feet; Easterly by the East line of said Lot~ and <br /> Southwesterly by the arc of a curve concave Southwesterly <br /> having a radius of 25 feet aD~ tangent to said North line of <br /> the South 18 feet and tangent to said East line of said Lot, <br /> <br />for the total price of ~500.00 payable ~20.00 down, receipt of which <br />is hereby acknowledged, and the balance of $480.00 in monthly in- <br />stallments of $20.00 or more, including interest, on the unpaid <br />balance from January 17, i 958 at the rate of 5% per annum, payments <br /> <br /> <br />
