RESOLUTION NO. ~8-33 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXA- TION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "DELHI AND MAIN S. W. ANNEX't, AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO WHEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description of certain real property as herein set out for the purpose of annexation and the Planning Commls~on of Santa Ana has approved said annexation; and WHEREAS, the owners of all of the territory to be annexed have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council, requesting that the City of Santa Ana, California annex said real property, stating that the same is uninhabited aud consenting in writing that said real property may be taxed to pay any indebtedness or liability of said City contracted prior to such annexation; NOW, ~HEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex sll of said territory to said City under the provisions of the Annexation of Un- inhabited Territory Act of 1939 and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it had less than 12 regist- ered voters residing in it on the date this Resolution is adopted, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, California, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Section 25, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, San Bernardino Base ~nd Meridian; said point being an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California; and running thence South 0° 39' 45" West along said City boundary and along the East line of said Section 25,4?5.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 89° 20' 15" West along said City boundary 322.00 feet to an angle point in said C~y boundary; thence South 0° 39' 45" West along said City boundary 150.00 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence South 89° 20' 15" East along said City boundary 322.00 feet to an angle point in said City bound- ary; thenc2 South 0° 39' 45" West along said City boundary and along the East llne of said Section 25, 959.74 feet to the Northweste~y line of the Pacific Electric Railroad right-of- way; thence departing from sazd City boundary South 60o 53' 30" West along said Northwesterly line of the R~ lroad 1140.53 feet to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 0° 39' 45" East along said City boundary 2150.50 feet to an ang~ point in said City boundary and to the North line of said Section 25; thence South 89° 22' 10" East along said City boundary 990.00 feet to the point of beginning.
