I:,~ORs~L~NT~ ' AS <br />TILl ?ERSON TO Ei~CUTE AGREE~.~NTS P~EGARDIHG INSTALL- <br />ATION 0F ~ATER OR SE~UER L~}~S %~I{EP~ DEVELOPER IS <br />PA~-II{G FOR SUCH INSTALLATION <br /> <br /> ~?HEREAS, upon request from the State of California, the City <br /> <br />of Santa Aha furnished material and installed a two-inch water service <br />connection, a two-inch water meter and backflow preventer to the <br />property now occupied by the California National Guard Armory on <br />Delhi Road at the cost to the City of ~677.81; and <br /> <br /> ',~EREAS, the State of California is willing and ready to pay <br /> <br />for the same but requires a contract document between the City and <br />the State for the perfor~ance of such work, in consideration of the <br />State's agreement to pay, to be signed by some agent of the City for <br />and on behalf of the City, and requires that said agent's authority <br />to sign such agreements be evidenced by a Resolution of the City Council; <br /> <br /> NOV~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Hugh H. Foreman, the Dir- <br /> <br />ector of the Department of Public ?forks, is hereby authorized and <br />designated as the agent of the City of Santa Aha, California, for a~d <br />on behalf of said City, to enter into agreements with the State of <br />California or any other public or private agency, in those cases <br />where the City is to install or provide for the installation of <br />sewer or water lines to the owner's property line, and t:~e property <br />owner is to pay the City the cost of performing such ~o rk. <br /> <br /> PASSED A~D ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of SantaAna at <br /> <br />its regular meeting held on <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> CLERK 0F THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />the 7th day of April, 19~8. <br /> <br /> ~,~AYOR / J <br /> <br /> <br />
