RESOLUTION NO. 58-101 COi~.,UEi~DING CERTAIi~ P~ <br />0FFICE?£ 0N C0~P~TION 0P SPECIAL TRAINING COURSE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has been sending some of the <br />new police officers through the Police Officer's Training School <br />in Riverside, as regular assigned duty to make s~d new officers <br />better peace officers and moro valuable to the City, and <br /> <br /> YfHE~S, a group of eleven officers of ~he S~a Ana Police <br />Department have just completed the course of training in Riverside <br />with thirty-nine police officers from other jurisdictions, ~d have <br />tn each case made a creditable showing by placing in the upper <br />portion of said class, m~d <br /> <br /> ~.2~Ei~AS, three of the Santa Ana officers have finished in the <br />top ten percent of ~is particular class; <br /> <br /> NOW, THE~U~F0?~, BE IT ~ESOL~D: ~at the City Council c~- <br />m~ each of t~e S~ ta Aha police officers upon their individual <br />efforts m~d upon the fine showing made for themselves and for the <br />Santa Aha contingent in t~s training course, sad particularly con- <br />gratulates Patro~ Rayford E. ~latthews for placfn~ ~t~ ~rom the <br />top of said class, '~obert ~i. Stebbins for placin~ 4th from the top <br />of said class, and Claude W.
