RESOLUTION NO. 58-127 GIVING NOTICE 01~ PROPOSED ANNEXA- TION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED, "TALBERT AND HARBOR N. W. ANNEX" WHEREA~, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description as herein set out for the purpose of annexation, and the Planning Commission of Santa Aha has approved said annexation; and WHEHEAS, the owner of more than 70 percent by area and by assessed value of all of the territory proposed herein to be annexed has filed a petition with the City of Santa Aha, California stating that the same is uninhabited and petitioning said City to annex said territory; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to annex all of said territory to said City under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, and finds and hereby declares that said territory is deemed uninhabited since it has less than 12 regis- tered voters residing in it on the date this Resolution is adopted; that said territory is contiguous to the said City of Santa Ana, Cali- fornia, lies in the County of Orange, and is described as: Beginning at the point of intersection of the East line of Harbor Boulevard (70.00 feet wide) with the North line of Talbe~t Avenue (60.00 feet wide), said point being on the City boundary of the City of Santa Aha, California; and running thence South 88° 45' 15" West along the North line of said Talbert Avenue and its extension to the Easterly right of way line of the Santa Ana River; thence northeast- erly along said easterly ri~t of way line to its intersec- tion with the North line of the South one quarter (S 1/4) of Section 28, Township 5 South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian; thence easterly along said North line of South one quarter (S 1/4) of Section 28 to the Southwest cor- ner of the Northeast one qlarter (NE 1/4) of the Southeast one quarter (SE 1/4) of said Section 28; thence South 1° 19' 45" East 990.00 feet; thence North 88° 45' 15" East in a straight line to the East line of ss~ d Harbor Boulevard, and to the City boundary of Santa Ana; thence southerly along said East line of Harbor Boulevard, and along said City bound- ary to the point of beginning. That said Council hereby designates "Talbert and Ha~,bor N. W. Annex" as an appropriate name for said annexation.
