Ed Thomas and wife, by deed recorded September ~2th, 19~4, in Book 1289, page 108 of Official Records; thence South al ong the East line of said land conveyed to Thomas, 150 feet to the North line of Seventeenth Street; thence East along said North line, 100 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said land shall be condemned in accordance with the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure and of the Constitution of California relating to eminent domain, and the City Attorney is directed to prepare and prosecute in the name of the people of the City of S~ta Ana such proceeding or proceedings as are necessary to acquire such ease~ents and rights-of-way, and to make application to the Court for an Order fixing the amount of security by way of money deposits as said Court may direct, and for an Order per~itting the City to take immediate possession and use of said real property or interest therein as a right-of-way for public use, and to make deposit of such security in the amount so fixed and determined by the Court in which such proceeding is pending.
