RESOLUTION NO. ~8-152 <br />OF QUITCLAIM DEED <br /> <br />AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has title to a small parcel of land on <br />the north side of Twentieth Street immediately West of the Southern <br />Pacific Right-of-Way, which is nS large enough to constitute a <br />building site, and can be of value only to the adjoining property <br />owner, regarding which the City has negotiated a sale, as herein <br />below set out; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a Quitclaim <br />Deed quitclatming all of the City's interest in and to that certain <br />real property located in the City of Sauta Aha, County of Orange, <br />State of C~ifornia, and described as: <br /> <br />That portion of Lot 41 of the "Main Street Tract't, as <br />shown on a Map recorded in Book 3, Page 20 of Miscell- <br />aneous Maps, Records of Or, ge County, California, and <br />that portion of Sourgeon Street, as shown on said Map <br />abandoned by order of the City Council o ftae City of <br />Santa Aha, a certified copy of which was recorded Jan- <br />uary 6, 19~6 in Book 3345, Page 235 of Official Records, <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the i~tersection of ~e center line of said <br />Spurgeon Street with the Easterly prolongation of ~he <br />northerly line of Twentieth Street, as shown on said ~,~ap; <br />thence Northe~y 88.04 feet along said center line to the <br />Southwesterly line of the Southern Pacific Railroad right- <br />of-way 100.00 feet in width; thence Southeasterly 97.75 <br />feet along said Southwesterly line to the Easterly pro- <br />longation of the Northerly line of said Twentieth Street; <br />thence Westerly 43.10 feet along said T#entieth Street to <br />the point of beginning, <br /> <br />to ODESSA GILBANK, in consideration of payment to the City of <br />~5~0.00 net cash, witnout~deduction therefrom of any costs or <br />expenses involved in this transaction. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at the regular meeting held on the 16th~ay of Ju~e, ~19~8. <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, EI~,~A HUNTER, do hereby certify that I am the Clerk of t~e <br />Council of the City of Santa Aha; that the foregoing Resolution was <br />regul~arly introduced to said Council at its regular meeting held on <br />the lot~ day of June, 1958, and was at said meeting regularly passed <br />and adopted by the followin~ vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
