RESOLUTION NO. 58-174 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THAT THE PUBLIC <br />CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY REQUIHE THE IMPROVEMENT <br />OF SIXTH STREET AND HAWLEY STB~T, ATJ, WITHIN THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held, duly and regularly <br />pursuant to Resolution No. 58-165 and the laws and Constitution of <br />the State of California, on the proposed improvement of Sixth Street <br />and Hawley Street by the grading, preparing of subgrade, and paving <br />with asphaltic plant mix, construction of concrete curbs, gutters, <br />sidewalks, and driveway aprons and appurtenant work thereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said improvement has been considered fully, <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. <br /> <br /> That the said City Council hereby finds and <br />determines that the public convenience and necessity require the <br />improvement of: <br /> <br /> Sixth Street between Hawley Street and a line 750 feet <br /> westerly therefrom, said line being the north line of <br /> Tract No. 633; and <br /> <br /> The westerly portion of Hawley Street between Fifth Street <br /> and the north line of Tract No. 633, <br /> <br />all within the City of Santa Aha, by the grading, preparing of sub- <br />grade, and paving with asphaltic plant mix, construction of concrete <br />curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and driveway aprons, and appurtenant work <br />thereto, the nature, location, and extent of the proposed improve- <br />ment and the district to be assessed for the cost and expense there- <br />oF are mhown respectively on the profile and improvement plan No. <br />AD 203, and specifications entitled "Specifications for Improvement <br />in Assessment District No. 203", and assessment district map No. <br />AD 203, Sheet 1. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2.
