BCok 16, Page 308 c: Planning Dept Juliam BoMles P~SOLUTIO}~ NO. 58-177 GRA!~TING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION i~0. 1006 !~tERE PLAi~NING COM~flSSION RECOM.~NDED i,IODIFI- CATION OF THE VARIANCE REQUESTED '~HEREAS, Julian and Sally Bowles filed Varisnce Application No. 1006 requesting pe~nission to constzuct two one-bedroom units and one two-bedroom unit on the westerly portion of the property herein described, which is a lot 75 feet wide and 130 feet deep, and on which said lot there now exists three houses and a one-car garage; and %~EREAS, the Planning Commission, after study, denied the re- quest for said triplex, but reco~ended that applicant be permitted to constr~ct a duplex on the condition that either five car ports or garages be constructed to provide at least one off-street parking place for each of the three existing residential buildings, mud two off-street parking places for the duplex, and the City Council has studied t~e matter and considered the requests made; NOW, THErEFOr, BE IT ~SOLVED THAT the City Council disagrees with the recoJ~muendation of the Planning Co~uission and hereby grants the applicants the right to construct a triplex containing two one- bedroom units and one two-bedroom unit along the westerly side of the real property located at 413 Eas~ Chestnut Street, Santa Ana, California, and described as: Lot ~ and the west half of Lot l0 in Block F of Blee's Addi tion, which said area is located in the R-2 ~istrict, on condition that there be constructed or orovided one car port or garage, with the floor or parking area underneath the sa~e blacktopped or concreted, for each of said six dwelling units.
