RESOLUTION NO. ~8-178 AP£ROVING MAP ~D DECLARING INTENTION TO VACATE A STRIP OF LAND FIVE FEET WIDE ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF DE~HI ROAD WHEREAS, after study, and upon reco~m~endation of the Director of Public Works, the Planning Commission has recomraended that a five- foot easement herein described be vacated; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED T~AT the City Council hereby adopts the ~ap attached hereto ma~ed Exhibit "A" ~ud orders the s~e filed as part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Co~cil, and reference is hereby made to s~d Map for particulars as to the Vacation herein proposed, ~d the City Council declares its intention to vacate s~d public se~ice water line easement l~ated In t~e City of S~ta Ana ~ d running southerly from Delhi Road approx- imately 338 feet East of ~:~a~ Street, described as: A strip of land five (~) feet ~ide and being tvoa~ one-half (2~) feet on eac~ side of the following described center line: Beginning at a point ~ the southerly line of Delhi Road, said point bei~ dist~t 3 7~ feet easterly from the north- westerly corner o~ Block "A" of South S~ta Aha, as per ~dap t~ereof on file in Book ~, Page 45, ~iscell~eous Maps, cords of 0ra~e County, California; thence Southerly ~d parallel to ~e ~esterly line of said Block "A" a dist~ce of 20~ feet to a point. BE IT FURTHE~ RESOLVED T~T the 18th day of August, 19~8, at tme hour of 7:30 o'clock P.]~!. in tae Council Ch~ubers, City Hall, 3rd ~d ~ain Street, in the City of Santa Aha, California, is here- by fixed as the time and place for hearing all persons interested tn or objecting to said vacation; ~d that the City Council declares its intention to proceed with s~d vacation under the provisions of the Public Service Easements Vacation Law (Gove~ment Code Sections 5o43o through ~E C~Ri( OF THE COUNCIL ZS ~BY ORDERED to publish tais Resolution in the ~ner prescribed for the publishing of Ordinances of the City and the Director of Public ~forks is hereby ordered to post, consoicuously along ~ae lines of said easement, notices stating the adoption of th~ Resolution of intention to vacate said easement, and giving notice of the time and place of hearing set out.
