cc: Public Works 8-5-58 <br /> <br />Page, 316 - Book 16 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ~8-190 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ALLOWIN~ PROTESTS OF WEED REPORT <br /> OF STREET SUPERINTENDENT AND APPROVING THE <br /> CORRECTED REPORT AND ORDERING A COPY THEREOF <br /> FILED WITH THE TAX COLLECTOR. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT~ OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did, on the <br />17th day of March, 1958, pass Resolution No. 58-76, determining and <br />declaring that weeds which bear seeds of a wingy or downy nature and <br />which attain ~uch a large growth as to become a fire menace when dry <br />and which are noxious and dangerous were growing upon the streets, side- <br />walks, and private property in the City of Santa Aha, described in the <br />itemized report submitted herewith; and <br /> <br /> Whereas, on the 5th day of May, 1958. the City Council further <br />passed Resolution No. 58-113, ordering the Street Superintendent of said <br />City to abate such public nuisance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Street Superintendent has given notice as <br />required by law, in which notice the 4th day of August, 1958, at the hour <br />of 7:30 o'clock P.M., was fiXed as the time, and the Council Chm~ber of <br />the City Hall of said City as the place, where a~y and all persons interested <br />in the said report might be heard; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the time set the Street Superintendent submitted the <br />said' report, and all of said protests or objections to said report having <br />been heard; and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Santa Ana that the two (2) protests, one by Gordon P. Cains, for Assessors <br /> Parcel No. 4-020-11, and one by Louis Goodman for Assessors Parcel No. <br /> 16-053-03 are hereby allowed and the assessment charge is deleted from the <br /> report and, there being no other protests, the report is affirmed as <br /> corrected herein; and that the Street Superintendent be, and he is hereby, <br /> directed to file a copy of said report with the Tax Collector. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTEDby the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br /> at its regular August meeting held o~ the 4th day of August, 1958. <br /> <br /> <br />
