RESOLUTION NO. 58-221 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED Ai~NEXA- TION TO ~E CITY OF SANTA ANA OF ~AT CERTAIN UNINHABITEI) TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "EDINGER A~D CENTER N. A~MEX", AI~D GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO %~MiEREAS, the Boundary Comm~ission of 0rsage County, California has approved the description of certain real property, as herein set out for the purpose of annexation, and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved said annexation; and WHEREAS, the owners of more thau 25% of the total value and area of said property have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council requesting that the City of Santa Ana annex said real prop- erty, and stating that the sa~e is uninhabited; NOW, ~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of S~ ta Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said territory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and hereby finds and declares that said terri- tory is uninhabited within the meanin~ of Section 35303 of the Govern- ment Code on the date of the adoption of this Resolution; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: "Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of Edtnger Street with the southerly extension of the West line of Lot 80 of Santa Ana Acres as shown on a map of a Replat thereof recorded in Book 5, Page 8, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, said point being an angle point in the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, C~ifornia, and running thence North 0° 24' 19" West 330.00 feet along said City boundary to an angle point in said City boundary; thence South 89© 29' 40" ~Vest 658.75 feet along said City boundary to an angle point in said City boundary; thence North 0° 16' 20" ~est 105.60 feet along said City bound- ary; thence departing from said City boundary South 89° 29' 40" West 628.00 feet to an angle point; thence South 0° 15' 20" East 410.60 feet to the north line of said Edinger Street; thence North 89° 29' 40" Eas~ 658.00 feet to an angle point; thence South 0° 16' 20" East 25.00 feet to a point on said center line of Edinger Street, said point being an angle point in said City boundary of the City of Santa ~na, California; thence North 89° 29' 40" East 629.52 feet along said City boundary to the point of beginning." That "Edinger and Center N. Annex" is hereby designated as au appropriate name for said annoxation; that said Council horeby declares its intention to, and it will, annex said territory to and include it
