RESOLUTION NO. %8-222' GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OPm SANTA ANA 0F THAT CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "SEGEHSTROM ANNEX NO. 4'.', AND GIVING NOTICE 0~~ TI~E AND PLACE FOR HE~_~ NG OF PROTESTS T)~ERETO ~'~HEREAS, the Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description of certain real property, as herein set out for the purpose of annexation, and the Planning Commissi on of S~uta Aha has approved said annexation; and WHEREAS, the owners of all of the area and all of the assessed value of said property have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council requesting that the City of Santa Ana annex said real prop- erty and stating that the same is uninhabited; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of said territory under theprovisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Terr- itory Act of 1939 snd hereby finds and declares that said territory is uninhabited within the mean lng of Section 35303 of the Government Code on the date of the adoption of this Resolution; that said terr- itory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: PARCEL I: Beginning at the point of intersection of the center line of Harbor Boulevard, 80 feet wide, with the center line of Huntzinger Avenue; thence North 1° 19' 45" West 1292.83 feet along said center line of Harbor Boulevard; thence departing from said center line North 88° 37' 00" East 630.00 feet to an angle point; thence North io 19' 45" West 222.57 feet to the true point of beMinning, said point of b~ginning being in t he City Boundary ofthe City of S~ta Ana, Cslifornia; thence South 88° 59' 12" Best 218.07 ~eet along said City Boundary to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence North 8 15' 00" East 386.97 feet along said City Bo~mdary to ~n anmle point in said City Boundary; thence North S0° 26' 30" East ~6.73 feet along s~id City Boundary, to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence North 33° 0~' 00" East 1%5.12 feet along said City Bound- ary; thence departing from said City Boundary ~outh 1° 19' East 520.33 feet to said true point of beginning.
