RESOLUTION NO. ~8-233 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE SIXTH STBk~gT AND HA~LEY STREET WITHIN THE CITY, IN ACCORDANCE WITH RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 58-175 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, in open session on the 15th day of September, 1958, publicly did open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the work mentioned in Resolution of Intention No. 58-175 of said City Council declaring its intention to improve Sixth Street and Hawley Street, all as set forth in said Resolution of Intention. Reference to said Resolution of Intention hereby is made for the description of the work and the assessment district and for all further particulars. NO~, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES RESOLVE A~ FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con- tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: cox Bros. Construction Co. pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said Resolution of Intention, which said bid is on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council; said award is made at the price named in said bid, and said City Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids for the doing of said work. SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed to publish the notice of this award twice in the "Santa Aha Register", a newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha. SECTION 3. The Clerk of the Council shall certify to the adoption of this resolution, and thenceforth and thereafter the -1-
