RESOLUTION NO. 58-248 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE CITY <br />IS PAYING NO CASH CON~DERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, R. EARL and CAROLYN D. STANLEY have presented to 7~ <br />the City a deed dated September 18, 1958, conveying an easement <br />for the widening of North Main Street on the West side, South of ~ <br />Santa Clara, and GERALDINE PAXTON has presented to the City a deed <br />dated September 16, 1958, conveying an easement for the widening of <br /> <br />North Main Street on the East side, South from Eighth Street, and <br /> ~HEREAS, CHARLES W. and MARGARET Y. BEACH have delivered to <br /> <br />the City a deed dated September 18, 19%8, conveying an easement for <br />the widening of Seventeenth Street on the South side, West of Grand <br />Avenue, and CERTIFIED ENTERPRISES, INC. has delivered a deed dated <br />September 24, 1958, conveying an easement for the widening of <br />Seventeenth Street on the South side, East of Fairmont, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rosewood Homes, a corporation, has presented to the <br /> <br />City a deed dated September 15, 1958, conveying an easement for <br />sewer purposes along the South side of Hemlock Way, West of Rosewood <br />and running South and Southeasterly between Rosewood and San Lorenzo <br />Streets, and a further deed dated September 17, 1958 conveying an <br />easement for sewer right-of-way at the intersection of Rosewood and <br />Central Streets, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in each of said cases the City is not paying any <br /> <br />cash consideration to said grantors. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREF0~E, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said <br /> <br />deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is hereby <br />directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds and <br />cause the same to be recorded. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of October, 1958. <br /> <br />AT TEST: ~~~ <br /> CLERK OF ~HE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
