RESOLUTION NO. 58-289 GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA OF THAT CERTAIN UI~INHABITED TERRI- TORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "~EMORY LANE AND RIVER S. W. ANI~D['t, A~]~ GIVING NOTICE OF TI~ AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO WHEREAS, t he Boundary Commission of Orange County, California has approved the description of certain real property, as herein set out for the purpose of annexation, and the Planning Commission of Santa Ana has approved said annexation; and ~gHEREAS, the owners of more thsa 25% of the total value and area of said property have filed a petition with the Clerk of the Council requesting that the City of Santa Ana annex said real property, and stating that the same is uninhabited; NOW, THEREPORE~ BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby declares its intention to aanex all of said terri- tory under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939 and hereby finds and declares that said territory is un- inhabited within the meaning of Section 35303 of the Government Code on the date of the adoption of this Resolution; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Ana, lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is described as: "All that pGrtion of the Northeast quarter of Section 2, Township 5 South, Range l0 West, in the Rancho Las Bolsas in unincorporated territory of the County of 0range, State of California, all as show on the m~p recorded in Book 15 at Pa~e 40, Records of Survey of s~d Orange County, more particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at aa angle point in the boundary of the City of Santa Ana as same existed October 24, 1958, said point being also the southwest corner of Lot 28 of Potts, Borden aad Sidwell Tract per map thereof recorded in Book 4 at Page 624, Miscell- aneous Records of Los Angeles County, California~ thence, along the westerly boundary of the Cit~ of Santa Aha, South 22° 27' 30" West 1662.38 feet; thence, South 27° 42' 30" West to a point in the easterly prolongation of the nortaerly right of way line of Trask Avenue, 40 feet wide; thence, ]~ aving said westerly boundary of the City of Santa Ana, al ong said easter- ly prolongation and the northerly right of wa~. line of Trask Avenue, South 89° 47' 5o" Wes~ to a point in the westerly line of that ce~tain parcel of land designated "D. 406-185" on afore- mentioned map recorded in Book l~ at Page 40, Records of Survey; thence, along last said westerly line, North 25° 40' East to an angle point therein; thence, North 37° 42' 44" East 492.97 feet, more or less, to ti~e most northerly corner of said parcel desig- nated "D. 406-185", said point being also in the southerly pro- longation of the easterly boundary of Tract No. 2244 as same is shown on a map recorded in Book 107 at Page 48, Miscellaneous Maps of said Orange County; thence, along said southerly
