RESOLUTION NO. 58-295 ACCEPTING DEEDS 'NHERE THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION WHEREAS, the ~n~..Q~ o~y of California has presented to the City a Quitclaim Deed dated September 4, 19~8, quitclaiming its right, title and interest created by a lease agreement with Jessie F. Cochems in and to a strip of land for the widening of North ~Iain Street, on the West side, i,~orth of Tenth Street, which said strip Jessie F. Cochems has deeded to the City of Santa Aha by deed recorded in Book 4375 at page 142, and which said Quitclaim Deed has been re- corded in Book 4l.'~69 at page 148, both of Official Records of Orange County, California; and ~HEREAS, W. F._Cr~odd~ and ~..~aurine M. Croddy have presented to the City a deed dated November 18, 19~8, granting an easement for the West side of New Fairview North of Delhi Road; sad WHEREAS, B~u~ffums~, a California corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated i~ovember 18, 19~8, quitclaiming property for street purposes on the East side and WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid to said grantors by the City; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City accepts said deeds, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to endorse his acceptance upon the face of said deeds and to cause the deed from Standard 0il Company of California to be filed in the office of the Clerk of the Council, together with the deed from Jessie F. Cochems hereinabove referred to, and to c~se t~e other tvo deeds to be recorded.
