RESOLUTION NO. ~-6 ~ ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE CITY PAYING NO CASH CON--~RATION WHEREAS, Dr. Joseph G. and Mary Hilda Tirico, and Maurice M. and Jeanne S. R~, have presented to the City a deed dated December 15, 1958, granting an easement for street purposes for the widening of North Main Street on the East side, opposite Buffalo; and WHEREAS, Robert I. and Bessie Brockbaqk have presented to the City a deed d~ted December 29, 1958, granting an easement for Street purposes to widen Main Street on the East side, innnediately north of Twentieth Street; and The_.TravelodEe Coro~t~n~ Lloyd L. ~ain.. and Pearl Jain, and Frank T. Been and Loraine Been, have presented to the Ci~ a Quitclaim Deed dated December 9, 1958, conveying property on the East side of Main Street, just North of Twentieth Street; and Clara Edith ¥os~ has presented to the City a deed WHEREAS, dated December 18, 19~8, conveying to the City an easement for street purposes at the Southwest corner of Bristol Street and Memory Lane for the purpose of widening each of said streets, and ~HEREA~, James A. Fre~ has presented to the City a deed dated December 8, 19~8, granting an easement for the widening of Seventeenth Street on the North side, West of Baker; and WHEREAS, the S~and. ard Qi~ Company of California has ~esented to the City a Quitclaim Deed dated September ll, 1958, quitclaiming for street purposes property on the East side of Main Street, immed- iately South of Seventeenth Street; and ~HEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration being paid by the City; NOW, ~qEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
