RESOLUTION NO. 59-65 aUTHORIZING CONDE~iNATIOf~ OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY FOR THE 7, IDF~I~G OF SEVEN- TEENTH STREET ON THE NORTH SIDE ¥~EST OF SPURGEON STREET WHEREAS, Seventeenth Street as it now exists is inadequate in width for the present and future demands of traffic thereon; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City ~ouncil of the City of Santa Aha hereoy finds, determines ami declares: 1. ~hat the public interest and necessity require the acquisition of au easement for street right of way pnrposes across the real property hereinbelow descrioed. 2. That said proposed improvement is located in a manner which will be most campatible with the greatest pu01ic a;ood and the least pri~ate injury. 3. That an action in eminent domain be filed to take and acquire'an easement for said purposes and for all ~e purposes of a public street on, over and through that certain real proper~y in the ~ity of Santa Aha, Oounty of Orange, State of California, des- cribed as: The northerly l0 feet of the southerly 20 fee~ of the east 93.5 feet of Lot 8, of the Bush Street Tract, as per map thereof recorded mn Oook 5, Page 35 of Miscellaneous ~aps, Records of said Orange County. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED~ fhat the City Attorney is hereby ordered and directed to immediately bring an action in the name of the people of the City of Santa Ana in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Orange, for condem- nation of said ~roperty necessary to be taken as herein determL~ed a~d ordered and heretofore described, and to do all things necessary to prosecute said action to finsldstermination. BE IT FURT~ER RESOLVED: That the public interest, necessity aud convenience require, and it is hereby ordered, that the City of Santa Ana~ a municipal corporation~ take immediate possession and use of the property herein ordered to be acquired upon comply- ing with the requirements of the law applicable thereto and to mak~
