Assessm¢~nts having since been paid there now remains unpaid <br />the sum of One Thousand, Three Hundred Sixty-one and 91/t00 <br />Dollars ($1,361.91) upon the assessment shown upon said list <br />other than these hereinabove last noted ss baying been paid. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution ef Intention <br />1144 of the Board of Trustees cf the City of Santa Aha, passed <br />December 3rd, 1923, for a complete description of the work <br />herein mentioned. <br /> <br /> AND WHERF~S, interested persons were notified in the <br />manner required by law to appear before the Bo~rd of Trustees <br />of the said City of Santa Aha, Callfor~ia, iu the Council <br />Chamber of the City Hall in said city, at the hour of 7:30 <br />o'clock P.~. of the 16th day of June,~1924, and show cause <br />why bonds should not be issued upon t~e security of the un- <br />paid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's list, <br />and <br /> <br /> WEEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and <br />form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid <br />assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (~) per cent <br />per anrum, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in <br />the "Improvement Bond Act of 191~" the last installment of <br />which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of <br />July next succeeding Ten (10) months from their date. <br /> <br /> And <br />this Board of <br />to show cause <br />of the unpaid <br /> <br />a!l interested persons having appeared before <br />Trustees and having been given full opportunity <br />why bonds should not be issued upon the security <br />assessments shown in said list, and all objec- <br /> <br />tions presented having been heard and considered. <br /> <br />NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Tr~[tees does <br /> <br />hereby ffnd and d~tsrmine that no cause has been shown why <br /> <br />bonds shculd not be issued upon the security of said unpaid <br /> <br />assessments and does hereby overrule all objections thereto, <br /> <br />and does hereby d~ r~ct the <br /> ..... a..~e of said bcpds, and further, <br /> <br />BE IT EESOIVHD AS FOLI OW$: That bo~ds .~hal] be <br /> <br />issued upon the security of said unpsld assessments to said <br /> <br />amount of One Thousand, 2!~ree Hundred Sixty-ope and 91/100 <br /> <br />Dollars ($1,361.91) <br /> <br />The sail bet:ds shall be Ten (10) in number <br /> <br />shall be dated the 16th day of June, 1924, and bear interest <br /> <br />at the rate of Six (6) per cent per annum, and the denomina- <br /> <br />tion of said bonds and the date of the respective maturities <br /> <br />thereof, shall be as follows: <br /> <br />SERIES B0~.~D }]0.
