RESOVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby ~e- <br /> Jects all of said proposals or bide except that next herein <br /> mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work <br /> and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, <br /> <br /> B. H. Ford at the price named in his bid, ss follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Item 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying <br /> of a five (5) inch Portland Cement concrete pavement with <br /> belt finish wearing surface, complete with the furnishing of <br /> all necessary equipment, labor and material on an estimate of <br /> 10V51.46 square feet for the sum of Twenty-four cents ($$.24) <br /> per square foot. <br /> <br /> Item 2. The trenching and furnishing and laying of <br /> a main linc sewer complete with the furnishing of all neces- <br /> sary equipment, labor and material on an estimate of 260 linear <br /> feet for the sum of One Dollar ($1.00) per linear foot. <br /> <br /> Item 3. The trenching, furnishing and laying of <br /> twelve (12) four (4) inch house branch sewers from the main <br /> sewer to the curb line complete with the furnishing of all <br /> necessary equipment, labor and material on an estimate of 180 <br /> linear feet for the sum of seventy-five cents ($0.75) per lin- <br /> eer fOOt. <br /> <br /> Item 4. The construction of a flush tank complete <br /> with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and ma- <br /> terial for the sum of One Hundred Twenty-five Dollars(~125.00). <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby direc- <br /> ted to post notice of this award conspicuously for five days <br /> on or near the chamber door of the Council Chamber of the <br /> Board of Trnstees of the City of Santa Ana, and also publish <br /> said notice twice in the Santa Ana ~ily Evening Register, a <br /> <br />. daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa <br /> Aha, and hex, shy designated for that purpose by said Board of <br /> ~z.
