<br /> A R~LUTION OF THE BOA~{D OF TRUSTEES OF THE
<br />CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE IS-
<br />SUANCE OF STHEET INPROVENENT BONI~ PUP~UANT TO RESO-
<br />LUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1008, DETEP~INING THE ANOUN~
<br />OPU NPAID ASSESSNENT, PRESCRIBING THE DENONINATION
<br />OF SUCH BONI~ AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE.
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Statute, notlee of filing llst
<br />of unpaid assessments, was duly given in the manner and form
<br />
<br />required by law,

<br />that the warrant, assessment and diagram re~
<br />1924, for the work and improvement mdc by
<br />
<br />the Underground Construction Company, under that certain con-
<br />
<br />tract awarded to them October 22nd, 1925, on East and West
<br />
<br />Fifth Street and West Fourth Streets and t~t said warrant,
<br />
<br />assessment and diagram were returned to the Street Superinten~
<br />dent of said city, together with a written statement of all
<br />
<br />payments received upon the said assessment, and after the fu~
<br />expiration of T~enty (20) days from the date of' said warrant,
<br />the said Street Superintendent duly made and filed with the
<br />City Clerk of the said City of Santa Ana, a complete list of
<br />
<br />all assessments unpaid upon the said Assessment, which list
<br />is now on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said
<br />
<br />city, now upon evidence shown, this Board determines that the
<br />
<br />assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total ag-
<br />gregate thereof being the sum of Twenty Two Thousant, ~1~ree
<br />Hundred Sixty Four and 25/100 Dollars ($22,564.23) and that
<br />
<br />Assessments No. 254, 114, 116, 1,' 2, 68, 193, 401, 402, 403,
<br />
<br />404 and 408 having since been paid there now remains unpaid
<br />the sum of ~enty Thousand, Five Bundred Twelve & 63/100 Dol~
<br />
<br />lars ($20,512.65) upon the
<br />
<br />assessment
<br />
<br />shown upon said list
<br />
<br />other than those herein above last
<br />

<br /> AND WHEP~AS, interested persons were notified in
<br />the manner required by law to appear before the Board of Trus
<br />tees of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Coun-
<br />cil Chamber of the City Hall in said city, at the hour of
<br />~:30 o'clock P.M. of t~ ~th day o~ June, 1924, and show
<br />cause whey bonds should not be issued upon the security of the
<br />unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superintendent's lis~
<br />and
<br />
<br /> ~REP~EAS, notice was duly given in the manner and
<br />form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid
<br />assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (6~ per cent
<br />per ann~, will be issued hereunder in the manner provided
<br />in the "Improvement Bond Act of 1915" the lsat installment
