Vegely <br />Clerk of the City of ~nts Ang'' <br /> <br />I~OLUTION ORDERING WOt~ <br /> <br /> NO. 1301 <br /> <br /> WBEREAS, the Boar~ of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Ana on the 30th day of June, 1924, passed its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1292, to order the hereinafter described work <br />to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along por- <br />tions of Santa Clara Avenue, Spurgeon Street, and Santiago <br />Avenue in.said C~y, which Resolution of Intention No. 1292 <br />was duly and legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily <br />Evening ttegiater, a daily newspaper published and circulated <br />in the City of Santa Ana, all as required by law, as appears <br />from the affidavit of ~na E. Rerrick, principal clerk of the <br />printers and publishers of said d~ily newspaper, and which <br />affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of <br />Santa Aha on the 5th day of July, 1924; and now on file there- <br />in; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention ~o. 1292, the Street Superintendent <br />of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line <br />of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br />three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 45 in all, <br />notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention,. headed <br />NOTICE OF 2MPROVEIiF~T, in manner, form and substance as pro- <br />vided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, <br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of <br />the open streets and alleys within such district, not more <br />than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart on each street; <br />and did post on each street at least 3 notices, and on said <br />streets 45 notices; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street ~uperintendent of the City of <br />S~nta Aha commenced to post said notices on the 8th day of <br />July, 1924, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />8th day of July, 1924, more than ten days before the day set <br />for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work and <br />improvement, all aa appears by the affidavit of ~. G. Knox, <br />Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the <br />office of the Clerk of said City on the 8th day of July, 192A; <br />and now on file therein; and <br /> <br />WBERFAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Aha was duly in regular session at the Council Chamber thereof <br /> <br /> <br />
