RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br />NO. 1403. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE <br />AN ALLEY IN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, WHICH ALLEY EXTENDS FROM <br />THE EAST LINE OF CYPRESS AVENUE TO THE WEST LINE OF ORANGE <br />AVENUE, SAME BEING BETWEEN CA~ILE STREET AND BISHOP STREET, <br />EXCEPTING ~ITEREFROM TFAT CERTAIN EIGHTEEN FOOT ALLEY RUNNING <br />IN A NORTH AND SOUTH DIRECTION BETWEEN CYPRESS AVENUE AND <br />ORANGE AVENUE; DECLARING IT TO BE FOR THE PUBLIC INTEREST <br /> <br />AND CONVENIENCE; FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJEC- <br />TIONS TO SAID PROPOSED ABANDONMENT IMPHOVEMENT. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the <br />California, pursuant to the provisions <br />Act of 1889" approved March 6th, 1889, <br />do resolve and declare as follows: <br /> <br />City of Santa Aha, <br /> <br />of the "Street Opening <br />and amendments thereto, <br /> <br />P~LIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE <br /> <br />SECTION I. That the public interest end convenience <br /> <br />requires, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of <br /> <br />the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the following im- <br /> <br />provement, in the nature of an abandonment in the City of <br /> <br />Santa Ans, to-wit: <br /> <br />(s) That a certain alley in the City of Santa Ana <br /> <br />be vacated and abandoned ss follows: <br /> <br />1. To vacate that portion of alley through Block <br /> <br />Three (8) of the Rouse and Lewis's Subdivision of Lyon's <br /> <br />Addition to Santa Ana, ss per map thereof on file in Miscalls- <br /> <br />neons Records, °ook iV, page 4V, of Los Angeles County, same <br /> <br />being an alley running from the East line of Sypress Avenue <br /> <br />to the West line of Orange Avenue, and in the block bounded <br /> <br />on the North and South by Camile Street and Bishop Street; <br /> <br />excepting from the said abandonment that protion of the North <br /> <br />and South eighteen foot alley running from Camile Street to <br /> <br />Bishop Street, which alley shall remain in effect and force. <br /> <br />The said protion to be abandoned is more particularly des- <br /> <br />cribed as follows: <br /> <br /> That portion of the East and West alley through <br />Block 8 of the Rouse & Lewis Subdivision as per map thereof <br />on file in Book 1, page 158, Miscellaneous Records of Los <br />Angeles County, California: <br /> Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot ~, of the <br />said Block 8; thence East along the South line of said Lot ~, <br />1SO feet to the Southeast corner thereof; thence South and <br />parallel to Cypress Avenue, 15.84 feet to the Northeast cot- <br />nar'of Lot 9 of said Block 8; thence West along the North <br />line of said. Lot 9, 1~0 feet to the Northwest corner thereof; <br />thence North along the East line of Cypress Avenue iS.SA feet <br />to the point of beginning. <br /> And beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot $, of <br />the said Block 8; thence West along the South line of the said <br />Lot 8, 180 feet to the Southwest corner thereof~ thence South <br />and parallel to Orange Avenue 1S.~A feet to the Northwest <br />corner of Lot 10 of said Block 8; thence East along the <br /> <br /> <br />
