]_82 <br /> <br />1911, and the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond <br />Act of 1918, and amendments to said Acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> PUBLIC INTEREST AND OONVENIENCE <br /> <br /> SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience <br />require, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of <br />the following described work and improvement, all within said <br />City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> In, on and along the roadways of the following des- <br />cribed portions of street in s~d City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> (a) North Baker Street from the North llne of West <br />Eighth Street to the South line of Washington Avenue. <br /> <br /> (b) North Baker Street from the North line of Wash- <br />ington Avenue to the South llne of West Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br /> (c) A portion of the intersection of North Baker <br />Street with West Seventeenth Street, being described as that <br />~ortion of West Seventeenth Street lying between a llne ten. <br />(10) feet South of and parallel to the center llne of West <br />Seventeenth ~treet, and the South line of said Street and ex- <br />tending along West Seventeenth Street thirty (~0) feet West <br />and thirty (~0) feet East from the Northerly extended center <br />line of North Baker Street. <br /> <br /> Excepting from the above described portions of North <br />Baker Street the East one-half of said Street from the North <br />line of West Washington Avenue to , point.552.5 feet North of <br />said North line of West Washington Avenue, the same b&img a <br />portion of Street fronting on public property, and not a part <br />of this proceeding. <br /> <br /> And where any street' or alley intersects or terminates <br />in an2 of the ,boys described portions of street in, on and <br />along which work is to be done and improvement is to be made, <br />then beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reservations <br />tO the property lines thereof. <br /> The wor~ and improvement on the above d ascribed per- <br />tions of ~smdways is more particularly described ~s follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The grading and paving of the abo~e described <br />portions of street, and where cross streets intersect the above <br />described portions of streets ~he grading and paving shall ex- <br />tend beyond the curb line to the extended property lines of <br />md~d streets, and the grading and paving from th~ street face <br />of the curb to'the property lines or to a point not to exceed <br />twenty (20) feet measured at right angles from the center llne <br />of the street and for their fu~l width of all driveways as <br />shown on the plans to be paved along the a~ove described street. <br />The ,boys described portions of streets, cross-streets and <br />driveways shall be ~raded to a s ubgrade five (5) inches below. <br />the finished grade and the construction thereon of a five (5) <br /> <br /> <br />
