(20) days from the date of said warrant, the Street Superin- <br /> tendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of said City <br /> of Santa Aha, e complete list of all assessments unpaid upon <br /> the said assessment, which list is now on file in the office <br /> of the City Clerk of said City; now upon evidence shown this <br /> Board determines that the assessments therein mentioned were <br /> then unpaid, the total aggregate thereof being the sum of <br /> Eighteen Thousand, Nine Hundred Seventy-eight ($18,978.00) <br /> Dollars, and that assessments numbered 15 and 83, a~regating <br /> the sum of Two Hundred Fifty-nine and 08/lOOths ($2Bg.08) Do~ <br /> lars and no others have since been paid, end that there now <br /> remains unpaid the sum of Eighteen Thousand, Seven Hundred <br /> Eighteen and g2/lOOths ($18,~18.92) Dollars upon the assess- <br /> ments shown upon said list other than those herelnabove last <br /> noted as having been paid. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention <br /> No. 1194 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br /> p~ssed the 18th day of February, 1924, for a complete descri~ <br /> tion of the work herein mentioned, and to the list of unpaid <br /> assessments filed as above noted, for the assessments unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in ~ <br />the manner required by law t~ e~oear before the Board of Trus~ <br />tees of the said City of Santa Ana, California, in the Coun- <br />ci~ Chamber of the City Hall of said City, at the hour of <br />V:~O o'clock P.M. of Monday, the 8th day of J~nuar~y, 1928, <br />and show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the secu- <br />rity of the unpaid assessments shown on said Street Superin- <br />tendent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice wes duly ~iven in the manner end <br />form required by law that serial bonds to represent unpaid <br />assessments bearing interest at the rate of six (~%) per cent <br />per annum will be issued hereunder in the manner provided in <br />the "fmprovement Bond Act of 1918", the last instgllment of <br />which bonds shall mature nine (9) years from the 2nd day of <br />July next succeeding ten (10) months from their date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having a~peared before <br />this Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunityi <br />to show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the securi- <br />ty of the unpaid assessments shown on said llst, end all ob- <br />Jections presented having been heard end considered; <br /> <br /> NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees does <br />hereby find and determine that no ca~se has been shown why <br />bonds should not be issued upon the security of said unpaid <br />assessments, end does hereby.overrule all objections thereto, <br />and does hereby direct the issuance of said bonds, and furthex <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS, that bonds shall be is- <br />sued upon the security of said unpaid assessments to said <br /> <br /> <br />
