Boo~ 16, Page 506 <br /> <br />c: pla.ntng & Orange Cc~uty ~armers <br /> <br />~mtual Fire Imm. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 59-102 GR~TING VARIANCE ON APPLICATION <br /> NO. 1100 WITHOUT IMPOSING ALL OF THE CONDITIONS RECOM~ <br /> ~Ei~DED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> <br /> V~HEP~EAS, after notice, the Planning Commission regularly held <br />a hearing on Application No. ll00, and recommended that the same be <br />approved subject to conditions; and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the City Council, after consideration, determined <br />that the requirement of a three-foot side yard, as provided for in <br />Section 9107.4 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code should not be a <br />condition of said variance; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds <br />that the facts here meet the requirements for the granting of a <br />variance as recommended by the Planning Commission, and a variance <br />is hereby granted to'property wtthint he City of Santa Ana, Cali- <br />fornia described as: <br /> <br /> Lots 5, 7 and 9 in Block l, Helmes Addition to Santa Ana, <br /> as shown on a map recorded in Book 3, Page 47 of Miscell- <br /> aneous ~aps, Records of Orauge County, California, herein- <br /> after referred to as Parcel 1 <br /> <br />to per~it the erection of a one-story office building 100 feet by <br />150 feet, to be used for insura~ ce company personnel and staff, <br />with off-street parking for thirty cars, aud to permit a portion <br />of the premises to be used by a life insurauce company for office <br />space with a waiver of the sideyard requirement along the South <br />line of said property, the same being the North property line of <br />Fifteenth Street, upon the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. That amintmum of 30 stalls of off-street parking space <br /> <br />be continuously maintained with adequate access for standard size <br />automobile s. <br /> <br /> 2. A building set-back be maintained at ~ sst 15 feet from <br />the present West property line of Broadway in which set-back no <br />sign, fence, building, structure or thing shall be per~anently placed. <br /> <br /> 3. Parking area shall be surfaced with asphaltic or concrete <br />surface and the stalls shall be clearly marked, and be at least 9 <br />feet by 20 feet in size, with aisles or access-ways of the width <br />shown on parking diagram "P" on file with the Planning Department. <br /> <br /> <br />
