<br /> WM~R~AS, the Board of Trustees of tbs City of S~nt~ Aha
<br />on the 19th day of guly, 1926, ~ssed its Resolution of Intentior
<br />No. 1685, to order the hereioa£ter ~escribed work to be done and
<br />improvement to be made in, on ~d along e portion of North Bt*stp
<br />Street and West Eighth Street in s~id City, which s~id Resolution
<br />of Tntention No. 186~ was duly ~nd legaYly published twice in the
<br />S~ts ~na Daily Evening Register~ z daily newspaper published and
<br />cir~mlated in the City of S~ te Ane, all as required by low, as
<br />appears fro~ the affidavit of Edn~ L.Eerrick, pr!~cin,1 clerk of
<br />the printers and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which
<br />affidavit was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of
<br />Santa Aha on the 22nd d~y of July, 1926, and now on file therein;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 1665, the Street Superintendent of tbs City of
<br />Saut~ Ana conspicuously posted along the ti~e of tbs contemplated
<br />work and improvement, at not more t~an three hundred (300) feet
<br />in distance ,part, and 45 in all, notices of tbe~esage of s~id
<br />Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE OF ~PROV~MWNT, in manner
<br />form and substance as provided by law, and the work being
<br />chargeable upon a district, slap conspicuously posted copies of
<br />said along along all of the open streets and alleys within s,'ch
<br />district, not more than three hundred (3a0) feet in distance
<br />ap~rt on each street, and did post on each street at ~east 3
<br />ootices, ~od on s,id Streets 45 notices; ~nd
<br />
<br /> V'MEP~S, tbs Street Superintendent of the C~ty of Santa
<br />Aua commenced to post said notices on the ~th day of July, 1926
<br />and fully completed the posting thereof on the 29~th day of guly,
<br />1926. more than ten d s~s before th~ day set for hearing prot~sts
<br />or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appear
<br />by the effidavit of Nat M.Neff, Street Superintendent of the City
<br />of Santa Aha, filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on
<br />the 31st day of guly, 1926, and now tn ffle therein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of tbs City of Sa~ Ana
<br />h~d fixed the 9th day of August, 1926, at the hour of V:~O o'cloc
<br />P.M., and the Council Chamber of amid Boarder Trustees, same beln
<br />the day, hour and oleos n~ed in the Resolution of Intention and
<br />Notice of Improvement, when andwhere ~ny and all persons having
<br />~ny objections to the proposed p~lic work or imorovement mi;hr
<br />~opear before the Board of Trustees ,nd show cause why said
<br />proposed improvement should not be carried o~ in accordance with
<br />said Resolution ~ Intention; and whereas, at the time set for
<br />s~id hearing on August 9th. 1926, the said Board of Trustees, by
<br />tbelr motion, continued the hearing on said ma k-~er until the hour
<br />
