<br /> WHEREAS, the Board of T~ustees of the City of Santa Aha,
<br />on the 28th day of December, 1925, passed its Resolution of Inten-
<br />tion No. 1608, to order the hereinafter described work to be done
<br />and improvement to be made in, on and along a certain alley between
<br />Fifth and Sixth Streets, and portion s of West Fifth and West Sixth
<br />Streets in said City, which Resolution of Intention No. 1606 was
<br />duly and legally published twice in the Santa ina Daily Evening
<br />Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of
<br />Santa ina, all as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of
<br />Edma L. Herrtck, principal clerk of the printers and publishers of
<br />said daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office oJ
<br />the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana on the 2nd day of January, 1926,
<br />and now on file therein; and

<br /> V~TEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said Resolutlor
<br />of Intention No. 1606, the Street Superintendent of the City of San~
<br />Ana conspicuously posted along the line of the contemplated wc~k
<br />and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in dis-
<br />tance apart, and 9,~in all, notices, of the passage of said Resolu-
<br />tion of Intention, headed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in manner, form
<br />
<br />and substance as

<br />all of the open

<br />than three hundred (300) feet in distmnce apart,

<br /> provided by law, and the work being chargeable upoz
