236 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1V02 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, CALIFORNIA, RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE OF STREET IMPROVEM~tT BONDS <br />PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1847 DETERMINING THE AMOUNT <br />OF UNPAID ASSESSMENTS, PRESCRIBING THE DENOMINATION OF SUCH BONDS, <br />AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR ISSUANCE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to statute, notice of filing list of un- <br />paid assessments was dmly given in the manner and form required b~ <br />law, that the warrant, assessment and diagram recorded on the 19t~ <br />day of October, 1926, for the work and improvement made by Griffith <br />Company, under that certain contract awarded to it on the Vth day of <br />June, 1926, on Pomona Street, Berkeley Street and Orange Avenue and <br />that said warrant, assessment and diagram were returned to the Street <br />Superintendent of said City together with a written statement of all <br />payments received upon the said assessment, and after the full expi- <br />ration of twenty (20) days from thedate of said warrant, the Street <br />Superintendent duly made and filed with the City Clerk of s aid City <br />of Santa Aha, a complete list of all assessments unpaid upon the said <br />assessment, which list is now on file in the office of the City Clerk <br />of said City, now upon evidence shown this Board determines that the <br />assessments therein mentioned were then unpaid, the total aggregate <br />thereof being the sum of Twenty-four Thousand Fou~ Hundred Eighty- <br />four and 08/lOOths ($24,484.08) Dollars, and that assessment numbered <br />95, aggregating the sum of Twenty-four and 59/lOOths ($24.59) Dollars <br />has since been paid, and that there now remains unpaid the sum of <br />Twenty'four Thousand, Four Hundred Fifty-nine and 49/lOOths <br />($24,4§9.49) Dollars upon the assessments shown upon said list. <br /> <br /> Reference is hereby made to Resolution of Intention No. <br />1647 of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, passed April <br />28th, 1926, for a complete description of the work herein mentioned, <br />and to the list of unpaid assessments filed as above noted, for the <br />assessments unpaid. <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, interested persons were notified in the manner <br />required by law to appear before the Board of Trustees of the said <br />City of Santa Aha, California, in the Council Chamber of the City <br />Hall of said City, at the hour of V:50 o'clock P.M. of M~nday, the <br />22nd day of November, 1928, and show cause why bonds should not be <br />issued upon the security of the unpaid assessments shown on said <br />Street Superintendent's list; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, notice was duly given in the manner and form re- <br />quired by law that serial bonds to reprelent unpaid assessments bear- <br />ing interest at the rate of six (8%) per cent per annum will be is- <br />sued hereunder in the manner provided in the "Improvement Bond Act of <br />1915", the last installment of which bonds shall mature nine (9) year <br />from the 2nd day of July next succeeding ten (10) months from their <br />date. <br /> <br /> And all interested persons having appeared before this <br />Board of Trustees and having been given full opportunity to show <br />cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid <br /> <br /> <br />
