RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to th~ lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, T. W. Oglesby at the price named in his bid, as follows, to-w~t: Item 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying thereon of a Portland Cement Concrete Pavement having a thickness of five (5) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labox and material for the sum of Sixteen and one-half cents ($0.16§) per square foot. Item 2. The excavation for and the construction of cement concrete curb, complete with the furnishing of all ~ecessary equip- ment, labor and material for the sum of Seventy-five cents ($0.75) pe~ linear foot. Item 5. The trenching, furnishing and laying of six (6) inch diameter main sewer, complete with the furnishing of all necessa- ry equipment, labor and material for the sum of Sixty-five cents ($0.68) per linear foot. Item 4. The trenching, furnishing and laying of four (4) inch diameter house connection sewer laterals complete with the fur- nishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Forty-five cents ($0.45) per linear foot. Item 5. The excavation for and the construction of concret, sewer manholes, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equip- ment, labor and material for the sum of Sixty dollars ($60.00) each. Item 6. The excavation for and the construction of concret, sewer flush tank, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equip- ment, labor and material for the sum of One Hundred dollars ($100.00) each. The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to post notice of t his award conspicuously for five days on or near the chamber door of the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ara, and also publish said notice twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily ~wspaper published and circulate, in the City of Santa Ara, and hereby designated for that purpose by said Board of Trustees. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a full, true and correct copy of Resolution of Award No. 1705 duly intro~ced and regularly passed by the Bce rd of Trustees of the City of Santa An~ at a regular adjourned meeting thereof held on the 29th day of Novem- bet, 1926, by the following vote, l~-wit: ~ Ayes, Trustees C.H.
